Welcome
As part of the Luton Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme, major improvements are planned for Cardinal Newman Catholic School.
The plans are being generated in association with the Diocese of Northampton. The aim of the design process has been to develop a facility that will serve the Catholic community of Luton for years to come.
As part of our plans, and to build on our specialism as a Catholic science college, the school will be reorganised into three separate teaching units three schools within a school and a separate sixth form. This approach will provide smaller pastoral units for our pupils.
Some of our existing buildings, such as the current sports hall and gym, will be demolished and new facilities - including a new entrance, chapel, multi-functional assembly hall, sports halls and teaching accommodation - will be provided.
All the retained buildings will be refurbished and our outdoor facilities will be enhanced including a new all weather sports pitch.
This website gives you further details about what we are proposing. Please look at our plans and give us your comments.
